What services do I provide?
The following designs were created by myself when working full-time in the marketing department at a Global Financial Business. The marketing staff had already written the content for me, and it was my job to use the software Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator to layout the content to make it appealing to read and help drive through what the content was saying.
Do you need to explain in an in-depth way an area of your business to potential customers or business heads? Then a brochure is an ideal way to do this. Sometimes you need to hand over what you are about productively, which stops the stress of thinking on your feet. Brochures are a great way of keeping business stress-free; this is good for you and your clients.
Content writing is an area I’ve recently been developing more since working as a freelancer. I’ve always enjoyed writing and have worked with many professional copywriters in my career.
Freelancers versus Agencies.
I can’t deny that working with people such as copywriters, art directors, and crazy talented coders – produces fantastic results. I also cannot deny that large advertising agencies do some incredible work.
However, they don’t always create top-notch work; many large agencies outsource their work to smaller design firms because of their work volume. It can be cheaper to outsource than to hire full-time employees. You could pay twice or even three times the cost to a design agency for the same standard of work.
Generally, people think a graphic designer takes minutes to develop a beautiful piece of work because they’re highly skilled. That’s not true either, they could be very talented and highly experienced, but if that Graphic Designer is under excessive time pressure – their standards will drop.
Freelancing gives graphic designers time and lets designers work on a project at their own pace. That doesn’t mean they will be expensive, as most designers will negotiate a fixed rate or discuss a flexible payment scheme.
